Snow Troopers

I'm giggling...this team makes me smile every time we watch them play. Every time. It's not as intense as some of the soccer gets now that Isa and Nana are older. And, it's certainly not as intense as when Daddy plays. You just see happy smiling people...isn't that what it's all about?

Storm Troopers decided to be Snow Troopers because of their white shirts...Dev was determined on this name and I'm glad it was well received by his team mates. YAY, Snow Troopers!

They are intently listening to coach...at least I think they are!

Pay, Livi and Antony patiently waiting for their turn to play.

I love that this team is all about fun! Dev has been on his scoring streak, Daddy told him after scoring 2 goals that he had to pass to another team mate before scoring a goal. Perfect philosophy for this age group - we are a more established team than the others and it's only fair that the kids learn more skills if they have gotten down the scoring aspect as our little man has.

Dev's buddy, Tyler is on this team too and it's been a year since he played with us. He has made huge strides in just getting out there. The rest will come to with time but being part of a team is an essential skill in life. Dev is so happy to run around with his buddies and cousins!

Pay and Livi are totally understanding how the game is played and are getting in there instead of running with the herd. Livi and Pay has been more aggressive with retrieving the ball. They are the only girls on the team so it's exciting to see them get into soccer and not let these boys intimidate them!
Go, Snow Troopers!

So cute. I can't believe they get the game. I still don't understand it :)

Dev is a baller, for sure! He smokes all the kids on the field! Pay loves playing with him. I'm glad we get to have them in fall together before the boys and girls split.
