A Resting Husband

Pssshh, whatev. This guy never rests. I snuck out Monday as he was home with his bruised heel and a sick Nana (+ the Naughty Pair, Dev and Madi). I went to the Naturalist and then had a little coffee + lunch with my GF, Cristina.

I came home to felt pads back on the dining room chairs and table (those came off after 3 days of him putting them on the first time), dishes put away and the start of him "cleaning" the espresso machine. We've had issues with it pouring shots (consistently good shots) and he's been itching to take it apart. Well, he did. And, 3 days later...he's still working on it. He had to replace a screw then he decided to take the pump apart...later learning to get back together is an impossible task.

We love our latte machine and would be sad if we had to send it to the latte machine graveyard. I'm very grateful for his motivational tasks when he is home. I know he feels like he should be productive at home because he spends little time here (between work, soccer and coaching soccer) but he seriously can't walk well from this heel injury. And, I wish he would just rest. Further more, I wish for a clean counter again. I love you, Honey!

Why are husbands so motivated? I need some of that motivation...and a cup of coffee.
