Gymnastics!

I felt like I was so behind on blogging but may be I am not as behind as I thought I was. :) Miss Nana started Gymnastics last Thursday. The highlight of her week. The rest of the week/weekend she kept telling everyone "I love Gymnastics. The rope is my friend." There is a rope that they swing on 3x before letting go into a foam pit. It is clearly every kid's favorite activity. They all beam when it's their turn. Nana was pretty nervous at first. I didn't think she was going to do it. She kept saying that she wanted to go home and that she was too scared. It really isn't in her character profile to be intimidated. So, I thought she was serious. I was getting up to leave disappointed and sad for her because I knew it was what she wanted. Then all the sudden she saw Olivia from her Fall soccer team. Olivia was so sweet to her and hung out with her until she felt comfortable. Olivia was so excited that Nana was going to be in her class as we were that she was there to give Nana comfort. Coach Annie was great with her and just let her warm up and made her feel comfortable like she'd been there all year.

She did so well after she warmed up and just lit up with excitement at the thought of coming back.
