A couple years ago Grandma Kim and I took Isa to Queen Mary's Tea Room. It is my most favoritest thing to do with girlfriends so I was excited to share it with my girls when Isa and Nana were ready (Madi was in the tummy still). Ever since then she's wanted a Tea Party for her birthday so this year we did it!!
We served:
We served:
- Passion Tea with Lemon Italian Soda and Peaches (iced) OR Honeybush Tea (hot)
- Passionfruit Sorbet with a Shortbread Cookie
- Cream Cheese and Raspberry Jam sandwiches, Mini Pizzas and Mini Meatballs with Marinara Sauce
- Fruit: apples, grapes, cantaloupe and strawberries
- Chocolate Covered Marshmallows, Mini Chocolate Cupcakes, Pink Tea Cookies and White Chocolate Covered Pretzels
The C6 loves Tea Parties too so they loaned us their fancy tea ware for the occasion. THANK YOU, C6!
The Tea Gang from Top Clockwise: Isa, Cass, Izzie, Alex, Camille, Livi, Kendie and Sophie.
Daddy played Tag with them outside to burn off their Tea Party calories. The girls love to play Tag or Hide and Go Seek Tag with Daddy because he's fast and competitive. I was cleaning up the party when I saw my Husband climbing up onto the ROOF!! I went outside to scold him-the girls thought he was so funny and cool for trying to be sneaky. The played for an hour and an half until parents came to round up their kids. Thanks, Daddy for being a good sport!

what a beautiful display! Well done! Why don't we do this for ourselves? We should send the kids with the Daddies and have our own Tea Party!
what a great party! I still don't know how you can pull a menu like that off with so many kids.. you definitely have a knack for this =)
That sounds like a fun party!! Great idea. What a wonderful dad David is!!
