Christmas Day we opened from Santa. Husband and I were so excited that we forgot to take pictures. I don't know how I forgot. We were both so excited for them and I was worried about flying wrapping paper. :) After we cleaned up, Dev put on his Star Wars T-shirt broke out the Star Wars Legos that G.E. got for him and lined up the Star Wars Galactic Heroes Santa brought him. He watched Clone Wars and didn't move...all day.
Daddy spent 3 hours putting this ship together (while watching Family Man).
In the late afternoon, my Parents, Grandma, Gab (my sister) and Tyler (my brother) came over to celebrate Christmas with us because we couldn't make it over to their house. They brought over the Lazaga's gifts and theirs for our kids to open. We are so grateful for them coming out. We made a non traditional dinner for Christmas. Husband made Sausage and Roasted Red Pepper Lasagna (I believe there's supposed to be Mushrooms but he omitted that piece out due to his pa let). It was Yummers. I recommend the recipe. We also used No Boil Noodles (organic from Whole Foods) and they worked lovely. Our first time using them, I preferred them because they were not heavy at all-you could cut through your lasagna nicely.
Opening frenzy...you could see why it makes me nervous. 4 kids opening presents we have to be a bit methodical. But, I let it go when my Parents came over. There is no fighting it when your out numbered by the adults. I was trying to write everything down for thank you cards later too. They were good about reporting who gave what.

Thank you to my Family for coming out and sharing Christmas with us. We know it wasn't easy to trudge through our street (which I hear is the worst) in the snow. The kids are so happy and continually playing with all of their toys they received this holiday.

The Family Man is one of Dao's favorite movies! That lasagna sounds delish. We also had the non traditional Christmas because of the snow. It was a bit stressful, but it turned out well in the end!
I almost forgot pictures too!! I definitely didn't take as many as I hoped. Love the pictures you DID take and so happy everyone got some great gifts? What about you Moma? Did your Mom get you some nice things at least? Kids make you anything special?
I was at Starbucks today getting my usual eggnog latte, and thought about you and the kids when I was reading the book called "The Traveler" that was being sold at the store. Such an adorable book to read to kids! Have you seen it?
Looks like you guys had fun!!
