Going Nuts...

Isa has a performance this week. She is an Acorn with lines and a Raindancer that dances (gracefully she says). We are very excited for her but will be glad when we all stop singing "we're all just nuts...!" Because we're starting to feel nuts. :) This is a debut of her first dramatic performance and it's so exciting for her...she has never had to sing and rehearse lines like this for this many people. She read at her First Communion but nothing like this in front of her peers and her peers' parents. Eek! I'm nervous for her but dare not let her know that because she'll really worry.

I wish I had pictures of yesterday at the Co-Op but my hands were too muddy and dirty to take pictures. Dev and some of the preschoolers (the brave ones) planted with me. Dev's Co-Op's at a local elementary school and the school gave the Co-Op 3 planters for each of the Co-Op's classes so it was our turn, yesterday, to plant. I sent 3 emails but apparently they missed the Memo. I brought extras and 4 kids (and a Mom) came out with me to plant in the rain. We planted Organic Lemon Basil, Fennel, Sun Creepers, Marigolds and...another pretty purple flower Dev picked out. We kept our herbs on one side and pretty flowers on the other. Battlefield? The Watering Can one little boy couldn't come out with us because he attacked Dev (who probably wasn't sharing and vocaling that he wasn't going to share) for the Watering Can. But can you blame him (or Dev)? That is the most exciting part not that the plants needed anymore water but you get the excitement, right? Hopefully, I don't have to be the force behind the planting next time and I can take pictures of the parents and kids. I was planting while singing "we are all just nuts...!"
