Fun at Home

Now, my source of amusement or should I say the true joy yeah, that's better is that my life is like that show, I can't remember the name..."The funniest things kids say!" I don't know something along that line. And, that's literally what keeps you going through some days. You could be having the poopest day ever and then one of the kiddies will say something and it'll just crack you up. Dev and Nana are perfect ages for this. Isa is a little bit more sensored. Anyway, Nana wanted to play dress up and cook for me because she says "Mommy, you do a lot of work. Sit down and I will be your servant and you're the Queen." Sweet!!! So, Madi and I sit down while Nana serves us. Dev-being the smart boy he is-sees that I am so delighted to have Nana serve me with coffee, cookies, eggs, etc. He wants in on the praise.

She's a poser, what can I say?

He realized soon enough that he wasn't dressed to be a servant like Nana so he left for a little bit. I went back there to check on him and saw him struggling to put on a dress! So, of course I had to run to go get the camera. There are rare moments like that and his unknowingness (I know it's not a word but just go with it) of gender specifications is lessening every day so I have to enjoy this little tid bit he has left before he turns into more of a boy than he already is. And, if you know him-you know that any thing sensitive can only do this boy GOOD. Okay, I'm done defending myself for letting him wear a dress.

He's looking down on purpose thinking if he did he could hide himself. Sorry, buddy!

Yeah, he had a chain saw with him. It's typical Dev. Thanks, Uncle Dan for the lovely chain saw! He wore it with the dress up shoes for all of 5 minutes. Nana and I didn't say a word to him about it. He just came back out in his Spidey Man underwear and said "All done."

Oh, I meant to post this yesterday but didn't...Madi's hair is funny. It's curly. Nothing like her sisters' (or her brother's) hair. I wanted to snap it so I could show you. It's hard to tell but she has a mini afro! She's mad because it was bed time and Daddy is never an option at bedtime. Working on it. Working on it.

Cute, isn't it?
