8 is
significant in our house right now. It's the number Isa has turned. Yes, Isa is the ripe age of 8. I can go on and on about how she was the
superest of the tiniest babies (4 lbs. 0.75 ounces), how her lungs weren't fully developed so it was a
roller coaster ride in the neonatal ICU but all of that doesn't nearly amaze me compared to the young lady she has become. We celebrated the day with Kendie coming over in the wee hours of the morning for hot chocolate and cupcakes before school. I had spent the previous day making mini cupcakes for her class (whew! Those suckers are tedious to frost!) so we brought them and surprised her at recess with a big hug after Co-Op. Husband and I put a miniature card Birthday card in her lunch. After school she went to Kendie's for an Easy Bake Birthday Party for her. Came home sweetly surprised that her Daddy came home before 7pm and immediately made her favorite dinner...panacakes. Followed by phone calls from all her grandparents and of course, more cupcakes.
Cupcakes and Smiles!Things to make you chuckle:
- Devin (to no surprise to anyone who knows him) spends a lot of time in time out. He has decided that he is the Daddy of his trains and some times they don't listen very well. So, Time Out they go.

"Spencer, Murdoch (who he earned going potty! James comes when we master pooing.) and Henry! You don't push Gordon-TIME OUT!"
- Tiny Tot was in my arms as I was taking Isa and Husband's picture and snapped one of herself!
